Why is ChipRite different to other mobile services?

Many companies offering the same sort of service are franchisees (many of whom have limited or no previous spray painting experience and limited technical skills due to inadequate training) or spray painters who have escaped from the booth to start their own business because they have seen how much in demand smart repairers are. They have no effective back-up and no way of improving their skills other than PRACTICING on YOUR car! Many will sell their services cheap just to get work; then they find they can’t make enough money to survive

Having the back up of 12 years in smart repair, and utilising one of the largest names in automotive paint supply, we pride ourselves in the quality of work we produce. The majority of work, however, is carried out in support of the new and used car trade, so we have to meet exacting standards in order to satisfy some of the hardest taskmasters in town.

ChipRite can't guarantee you the cheapest price in town, but can guarantee you the best value for money - the best possible level of repair for a fair price.

Are there any repairs you don't do?

The paint system is not designed for full paintwork repairs to bonnets or roofs. We can conduct touch-in repairs and machine compounding repairs to these areas, which can provide a cost effective repair to certain types of damage. In addition we do not undertake panel replacement or welding repairs.

Do you do Dent repairs?

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a separate skill which is applicable if the paint is not damaged and the area is suitable for access for PDR. This is not a service provided by ChipRite. In the case the paint is damaged or the area is not suitable for PDR, ChipRite can usually repair the area by applying filler to level out the dent, followed by spray painting and lacquering of the applicable area.
